Multiple openings are available, working across several campuses, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year.

Applicants should bring their expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and hold (or be eligible for) both the Alabama ASHA Certification and the Alabama Educator SLP Certificate. (Candidates with the educator certificate pending are welcome to start.) You’ll join a dedicated team committed to fostering communication growth for students in both elementary and magnet school settings.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Alabama ASHA Certification
• Alabama Educator SLP Certificate (or eligibility and in process)
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Comfortable working with a caseload of up to 60 students
• Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively across multiple school sites
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students at elementary and magnet schools
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
• Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams, families, and staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and student records
• Travel between campus locations as assigned
