Physical Therapy Assistant

Role Overview: Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides treatment for patients across all age groups, implementing therapy programs based on accepted practices. The role involves participating in professional development, promoting evidence-based practice, and fostering team collaboration. Additional duties encompass data collection, patient monitoring, supporting student training, and contributing to a positive work environment. Qualifications: An associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited program is required. Preferred experience includes at least one year as a Physical Therapy Aide or Assistant. Current licensure as a PTA with the Texas ECPTOTE is mandatory, along with BLS certification obtained within 90 days of start.
