R&D Lab Technician - Consumer Product Testing

responsibilities:

• Assemble product samples and prototypes while running standard lab test routines.
• Create and update technical specifications based on standardized information.
• Execute qualitative, quantitative, and sensory testing following strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Submit products for specialized analytical testing and accurately document findings.
• Utilize dedicated data and reporting systems (including SMART, Desktop Reporter, and GAIMS) to record results.
• Collaborate with product teams to conduct consumer and market research while refining the product backlog.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• High proficiency with basic computer tools and desktop applications.
• Proven technical rigor with a disciplined approach to following procedural work and reporting accurate data.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in R&D product research for testing, data entry, and documenting results.
• Demonstrated ability to execute tasks on time with high quality and communicate unexpected results promptly.

Preferred:

• Desirable experience with P&G systems (such as Veeva, Nexus, or MyLearning).
• Prior background placing or executing technical and sensory testing in the CPG or Pharma industry.
• Basic familiarity with test design or demo development.
