Regenerative California is seeking a passionate and driven Farm Assistant to join the team at Regenerate 68! Farm, starting immediately through November 15, 2026. This is a part-time role (20–30 hours/week) working side-by-side with Regenerative California's Farm Manager to learn, build, and manage a regenerative organic farm from the ground up. No prior farming experience is required — just the drive to make a meaningful difference by building living soil and growing food that nourishes communities. This is a rare opportunity to get paid to learn the craft of next-generation farming while contributing to a mission with real regional and statewide impact.

Primary Responsibilities

The Farm Assistant will be involved in all aspects of farm operations, including:

• Design and implementation of farm systems and infrastructure
• Field and nursery work
• Seeding and transplanting
• Irrigation management and pest management
• Harvest, wash, and pack operations
• Operation of BCS tractor and various farm tools
• Distribution support and community relationship-building

Specific Experience Requested:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish strongly preferred)
• Able to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Self-motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Eagerness to learn farm operations, equipment, and regenerative practices
• Experience or interest in agriculture, environmental work, or community food systems is a plus!

Workplace, Compensation & Application

This is an on-site position at Regenerate 68! Farm, located off Highway 68 in Monterey County, CA. Hours range from 20–30 hours per week, depending on farm needs, and may include early mornings and weekends during peak seasons.

Term: Immediate start through November 15, 2026, with potential for transition to full time employment (dependent on future organizational needs and funding).

Compensation: $25/hour
