Associate Attorney - GENERAL LIABILITY | INSURANCE DEFENSE

Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-6 years experience in Insurance Defense is needed for a well-established AV-rated regional firm looking to expand their Civil Litigation Team in Sacramento. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle a variety of defense work, supporting a managing Partner, receiving training and mentoring for career development. This firm has full staff support with a very collegial work culture; they go the extra mile to make their people feel appreciated and ask that you bring a passionate work ethic and enthusiasm for building collaborative, strong relationships.


Areas of practice include: General Liability Defense, Casualty Insurance, Insurance Fraud, Catastrophic Liability Defense, Premises Liability, Commercial Auto, Tank and Trucking Litigation, Construction Defect.


Duties and responsibilities:

• Strong written and verbal communication; drafting motions, pleadings, briefings, EUO experience a plus
• Prepare and argue motions and opposition to motions, taking and defending depositions
• Courtroom experience a plus

Compensation structure is a base salary range $140K - $170K, DOE. Additional details on benefits, 401K and unlimited PTO available. First interview via zoom; second in-person.
