Description:
Specialty: Clienttion Oncology
Contract Length: 13 months
Shift Details: Normal radiation oncology operations including clinic and minimal inpatient consults.
Participation in tumor board and chart rounds.
Schedule: Office hours Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30, no on-call required.
Looking for full-time coverage.
Work Details: Support staff includes oncology certified RN, physician access assistant, dietician, social worker, financial counselor, and 4 radiation therapists averaging over 25 years of experience.
Treatment volume averages 14 patients daily, with approximately 8 consults and 20 follow-ups per week.
Patient population includes adults.
Department description includes a comprehensive cancer center with hematology/oncology, infusion services, and palliative medicine co-located.
EMR used is EPIC.
The facility has a bed size of 100.
Special procedures include lung SBRT.
Credentialing timeframe for temporary privileges available with a clean file.
Candidate must hold active licensure in their state of residence and the state where services are provided.
All active licenses will be verified.
