About the Position

Description: Rebooking only, with a preference for previous mission experience. Strong communication, coaching, and teaching skills are essential. Comfort with rounding on units and engaging staff in real-time education is necessary. Ability to work independently while following established education plans and content is required. Flexibility in scheduling is important, including days, nights, and weekends. Previous experience in nursing education, clinical teaching, and competency validation is beneficial. Experience in nurse residency or transition-to-practice training and preceptor development is helpful. Familiarity with skills validation, staff onboarding, and orientation is advantageous. Understanding high-risk education, regulatory readiness, and quality/safety initiatives is desired. Training will be provided for education tracking tools, dashboards, LMS platforms, or competency checklists. Key responsibilities include delivering assigned clinical education content to impacted staff. Support education for core staff, travelers, contract labor, and interdisciplinary team members. Provide unit-based rounding, reinforcement, and just-in-time coaching. Validate understanding and/or competency when required. Accurate and timely documentation of education completion is crucial. Identifying barriers to completion and escalating concerns to clinical education leadership is necessary. Support night shift, weekend, and hard-to-reach colleague education. Assist with focused re-education when audit findings or practice observations show additional support is needed. Partner with educators and leaders in the organization.
