Job Description
Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week, nights.

Assignment Details

Estimated patient ratios: 1:1-2.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience.
• EPIC experience required.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, AHA Certifications only.
• Proficient in IV starts and experienced with telemetry.
• Competency with ventilators.
• Specialized experience in multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, COVID, sepsis, post-cardiac arrest, diabetic ketoacidosis, liver failure, and renal failure.
• Knowledge of NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV Pump, GE Cardiac Monitor, GE Ventilator.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical ICU setting.
• Monitor and interpret patient data and telemetry results.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
