Major duties include, but are not limited to: Designs, implements, and evaluates educational programs-including orientation, competency, simulation-based, and continuing education-to enhance nursing staff knowledge and skills. Develops, coordinates, and facilitates simulation-based and interdisciplinary training modules to promote experiential learning, clinical competency, and teamwork. Evaluates simulation activities through debriefing, structured feedback, assessment tools, and performance metrics to support self-reflection, critical thinking, and skill development. Provides expert consultation, serves as a resource for current clinical standards and procedures, and mentors staff for professional development. Supports staff with performance improvement, career advancement, and compliance with regulatory, infection prevention, and documentation standards. Participates in quality assurance initiatives, analyzes trends, and assists with implementing best practices to improve patient care and outcomes. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to optimize educational activities, assesses learning needs, and maintains up-to-date educational materials and simulation training tools. Preferred Experience: Masters degree preferred Experience teaching in person, online, blended, and technology enhanced learning environments. Demonstrated skill in curriculum design, instructional methodology, and program evaluation. Proficiency with Microsoft applications and educational technologies.
