Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Rehab

Key Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising OT's plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with patient and family education throughout the course of care
• Communicate patient status updates to the supervising occupational therapist
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols in accordance with state and federal regulations

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a rehab setting
• Familiarity with documentation systems used in occupational therapy practice
