Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by providing essential support in a thriving educational environment. A dedicated IRR teacher is needed to work onsite with a caseload of 15–18 students, serving as an integral part of the special education department. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 2027, offering full-time, Monday–Friday daytime hours throughout the academic year. This is a contract position designed for professionals with a passion for facilitating student growth and success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active GaPSC Certification or equivalent Georgia special education teaching certification is required (please provide verification upon application)
• Demonstrated experience in school-based special education settings, specifically with resource or IRR students
• Proficiency in collaborating with general education staff and maintaining up-to-date documentation
• Hands-on experience supporting IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Effective classroom management capabilities and student engagement strategies
• Full-time, onsite availability throughout the academic school year
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instructional support to students with diverse learning needs
• Work closely with teachers and staff to coordinate lesson plans and adapt curriculum materials for students receiving special education services
• Manage and accurately maintain student records and IEP documentation
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and structured classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and allied professionals to support student growth
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and IEP reviews as scheduled
