Echo Technologist

Location: Falmouth, MA
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days

Pay Package:

• Weekly Pay Range: $1,900 – $2,200/week

Requirements

• 1–2 years of Echocardiography experience required

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer ( RDCS – ARDMS ) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer ( RCS – CCI ) certification required

• BLS Certification required

• Must be able to work independently

• Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• All certifications and registrations must be active and current

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography studies for adult and geriatric patients

• Obtain patient history, position patients, and select appropriate ultrasound techniques

• Perform:

  • 2D Echo

  • M-Mode

  • Pulse Wave Doppler

  • Continuous Wave Doppler

  • Color Doppler

• Acquire high-quality images for Cardiologist interpretation

• Provide preliminary interpretation when required

• Perform emergency echocardiograms as needed

• Assist physicians with special ultrasound procedures and Transesophageal Echo (TEE)

• Maintain echo lab records, patient charges, and equipment documentation

• Follow Echo Lab accreditation standards and protocols

• Participate in quality assurance activities and accreditation requirements

• Ensure equipment and rooms are cleaned, stocked, and ready for patients

• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare staff

• Provide excellent patient care while maintaining professionalism and service standards
