Physical Therapist Job Summary As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients who have physical impairments due to injury, illness, or disability. You will work to improve their mobility, alleviate pain, and restore function through various therapeutic exercises and modalities. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct initial evaluations of patients to determine their physical capabilities and limitations. Develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals. Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, and endurance. Use manual techniques and modalities, such as massage, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation, to relieve pain and promote healing. Educate patients on proper body mechanics and techniques to prevent future injuries. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Qualifications and Skills Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy. State licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
