Administrative AssistantFallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is in the foothills about 50 miles northeast of San Diego, California.Responsibilities include:Operates a central telephone system.Receives and greets office callers and refers them to proper persons and offices.Provides translation and interpretation from English to Spanish for school personnel as needed.Takes and transmits messages.Gives routine information in response to inquiries.Sorts and distributes incoming mail.Prepares outgoing mail for receipt by Post office and UPS.Performs assigned clerical tasks such as filing, typing, preparing forms, assembling, and distributing materials when not engaged in switchboard operations.Performs other duties as may be assigned.Details for this position:Application Deadline: September 30, 2026 - 4:00 p.m.Length of Work Year: Student Year Employee CalendarWork Site: Potter Jr. HighWork Schedule: 3.92 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday - Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 3:55 p.m.Benefits: Benefit package includes, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (Currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).Requirements for Applying: No experience is required; however, previous clerical experience is desirable; equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
