Description:
This travel position requires an RN to work in a Mom/Baby unit.
The unit has a total of 70 beds and approximately 120 staff members.
On the night shift, typical patient ratios are 6 patients per nurse, with couplets.
The staff consists of charge nurses, resource nurses, admit nurses, and registered nurses.
The night team includes 1 charge nurse and 7-15 registered nurses.
The typical procedures performed include mother/baby care, lactation support, phototherapy, blood sugar checks, and IV antibiotics.
Candidates must possess a positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to work well within a team.
Floating to other areas is rare but may occur as needed.
There is a requirement for 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule, but no on-call shifts are required.
