Procurement Leader – NPD/MCP The Procurement Leader – NPD/MCP will lead multiple supply chain projects, working with Platform NPD and cross‑functional teams to build and execute project implementation plans for new product development, engineering‑to‑order, manufacturing cost‑persistence, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong procurement expertise, project management skills, and the ability to drive results across a broad functional landscape. Responsibilities Lead NPD/MCP supply chain projects by collaborating with Platform NPD and cross‑functional teams to develop and execute project plans. Coordinate with suppliers, commodity teams, purchasing, materials, operations, engineering, finance, quality, and field operations to complete projects and achieve expected benefits within timelines. Partner with Platform teams to support project charters, benefit analyses, and resource requirements. Actively participate in sector/plant NPD/ETO/MCP gate reviews, ensuring required cross‑functional resources are allocated to execute projects as outlined. Monitor active projects, update status, remove roadblocks, and appropriately elevate issues. Investigate, coordinate, and communicate project changes. Create and revise project schedules, business cases, risk assessments, and other project‑management tools. Develop and deliver presentations for project approvals and monthly status updates. Identify gaps to goals, collaborate on countermeasures, and support activities to close gaps and exceed targets. Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan for projects, productivity initiatives, and targets in support of NPD/ETO/MCP objectives. Assist with the standard‑setting process for responsible plants within the NPD/ETO/MCP process. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. 10+ years of relevant professional experience. Strong understanding of the procurement process at an operational and leadership level. Experience in supplier negotiations and sourcing strategies. Knowledge of should‑cost modeling highly preferred. Project‑management experience highly preferred. Demonstrated ability for independent thinking and multitasking.
