We are a growing organization in need of passionate individuals looking to translate the dreams of our clients, the ideas of our designers and the craftsmanship of our manufacturers into the seamless fulfillment of those dreams. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and pricing based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. This role requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

·         Draw finished designs from designer’s sketches or from other design documentation.

·         Utilize AutoCAD and other drafting software to complete drawings.

·         Utilize our price catalogs to create project estimates.

·         Visually compare design of component, or other equipment with drawing of parts, matching coordinating points for accuracy of fit.

·         Keep record of all changes and make a copy of original drawing for designer to be stored in the client file.

·         Current drawings available at all times.

·         Understand that job descriptions change over time. You are expected to maintain competence, awareness, and compliance within your position.

·         Cooperating with the designers and sales team and with Mia Cucina management in an effective manner to perform design work of the highest quality.

·         Be aware of budget and schedule constraints on all work executed for Mia Cucina. Make every effort to complete assignment on time and on schedule and produce work which is right the first time.

·         Inform supervisor of challenges or issues which affect the company’s ability to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

·         Associates of Arts Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Design, Graphic Arts, or related field. 

·         Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)

·         Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.

·         Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

·         Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

·         Self-starter, pleasant, helpful, optimistic, minimal supervision required and very organized.

·         1/2 years of drafting or related work experience is preferred.
