This full-time night shift leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in progressive care, acute care, medical-surgical nursing, and post-surgical patient care . As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you\'ll partner with the Nurse Manager to lead daily operations, mentor nursing staff, and ensure the delivery of exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced progressive care environment. Responsibilities Assist with the daily operations and clinical leadership of the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Lead, coach, and support Registered Nurses and patient care staff. Promote safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care for adult medical and surgical patients. Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, discharges, staffing assignments, and patient throughput. Serve as a clinical resource for complex patient care and support interdisciplinary collaboration. Drive quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence. Provide direct patient care as needed while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
