Job Title

Travel RN – Med Surg / Telemetry Short Stay, Nights (4x12)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (19:00–07:00) | 4x12 Schedule | 13-Week Assignment | 48 Weekly Guaranteed Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities for adult patients including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across a 50% Medical / 50% Telemetry unit
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Operate within the scope of nursing practice consistent with applicable state nursing practice standards and established facility guidelines
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 4–6:1 utilizing standard telemetry unit equipment and EPIC EMR
• Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units
• Work every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license meeting eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri, or currently licensed in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Demonstrated team-oriented approach with a focus on positive patient outcomes and superior communication skills
