Role Overview The Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) RN provides specialized nursing care focused on ostomy, wound, and skin management. They utilize the nursing process to assess patients, develop diagnoses, create care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes. The role involves consulting with healthcare providers and delivering direct patient care for ostomy, wound, and skin care needs. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Washington RN License and BLS certification Board Certification in Wound Care and Ostomy Care (or within specified timeframes) Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute setting Preferred Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Program Certified Continence Care Certification Key Duties Assess, diagnose, and develop care plans for patients with wound, ostomy, and skin care needs Collaborate with healthcare teams to recommend and provide care Maintain certifications and stay current with clinical best practices The role offers comprehensive benefits, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive, inclusive work environment dedicated to patient-centered care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
