BayCare Health System is currently seeking a RN - Charge Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Med/Surg Tele unit at Winter Haven Hospital. Position Description: RN - Charge Nurse

• The RN - Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Is responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information

• The Charge Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license

• BLS

• 2 years RN acute care experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Preferred:

• 1 year Leadership experience

• Nurse Specialty

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:45PM - 7:15AM

Shift: Shift 3

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
