MLR is looking for a committed and detail-oriented Medical Lab Technician to become part of our healthcare team. In this role, the technician will conduct a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Proficiency in performing tests on bodily fluids, tissues, and other specimens using advanced laboratory equipment is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of laboratory safety protocols, demonstrate accuracy in documenting and reporting results, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities for Med Tech:

• Conduct routine laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols and procedures.
• Perform analyses on biological specimens such as blood, urine, and tissues.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Prepare specimens for examination, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Analyze test results and communicate findings to healthcare providers.
• Maintain and update laboratory records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in quality control and quality assurance procedures to maintain laboratory accreditation.
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care and accurate test interpretation.
• Stay informed about advancements in laboratory technology and techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in required field
• ASCP required within 9 months of employment
