Job Summary:
The interventional radiology clinical technologist position is located in Williamstown, Pennsylvania. This role involves independently performing imaging procedures utilizing ionizing radiation to support diagnostic and interventional services. The position requires technical proficiency, patient interaction, and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology; 2 years of experience; valid ARRT certification or equivalent; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; state licensing and background check as required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in interventional radiology procedures and familiarity with departmental protocols.
• Additional Information: Demonstrates proper positioning and radiographic techniques for all interventional procedures. Supports general radiographic procedures when needed. Ensures aseptic technique and patient safety during procedures. Administers contrast under supervision of the proceduralist. Communicates effectively with patients and team members, maintaining dignity and respect. Properly identifies patients, reviews history, documents procedures, and ensures accurate coding and archiving. Performs duties in compliance with system-wide competencies and behaviors. Performs other duties as assigned.
