Title Registered Nurse Location Laguna Hills, CA Department Telemetry Position Type Part‑time Shift Nights (12 Hours) Pay Range $50/Hr - $69/Hr Signing Bonus $10,000 bonus for external hires new to MHS employment, contingent upon fulfillment of employment requirements. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process and practice standards as a framework for patient care management. Analyze assessment data to determine a nursing diagnosis and appropriate interventions. Employ effective critical thinking skills. Demonstrate leadership in coordinating patient care across the continuum toward desired outcomes. Delegate to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Use the clinical information system for accurate patient documentation. Formulate and evaluate teaching plans based on patient learning needs. Serve as a role model and mentor new staff members. Integrate job‑specific competencies into practice. Develop and implement an action plan for self‑development and professional growth, including peer review. Identify and report patient problems to the appropriate resource or multidisciplinary team. Address age‑specific needs across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Contribute to a safe and effective working environment. Maintain professionalism, tact, sensitivity, and discretion in interactions. Prioritize and multitask efficiently. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and directives. Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience in an acute care/telemetry setting (preferred). Current California RN license. BSN preferred. Specialty certification preferred (e.g., BLS, ALS, NIHSS). Strong clinical knowledge and compassionate patient care skills. Effective communication and documentation abilities.
