Job Description Our client, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to excellence in patient care and diagnostic imaging, is hiring a Mammography Technologist. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including mammography, ensuring high-quality imaging compliant with established policies and procedures. Review all documentation related to procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of radiographic equipment, performing preventative visual and manual inspections. Coordinate resources efficiently to manage radiographic procedures and optimize workflow. Conduct equipment calibration and warm-up procedures to prepare for patient imaging. Procure necessary supplies and report any equipment issues promptly. Contribute to a collaborative, positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork. Support administrative duties related to patient procedures and documentation. Requirements Proven interest in patient care and satisfaction. Operating knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including mammography. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster supportive relationships with colleagues, staff, and physicians. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving procedures. Demonstrated professionalism in following directions from medical personnel. College degree, ASRT (RT)(R)(M) certification, and a CT State License are preferred Prior experience in mammography and radiography is highly advantageous.
