Job: ENTRY Phlebotomist I Location: Bradenton, FL Duration: 4+ Months Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM HIGH LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE/SKILLS ARE REQUIRED - this is critical to the heart of the role This is primarily a Lobby Greeter position to help patients check in at the kiosk and to help them feel more comfortable while waiting to be called back for their labs to be run. Job Description Greet patients upon arrival and answer any questions or concerns with care and compassion. Help maintain the integrity of the waiting area and assist with breaks when other Phlebotomists are unavailable. Utilize Phlebotomy skills to grow within the company. Directly contact patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining what to expect regarding the scheduled procedure in a safe and accurate manner. Demonstrate excellence in customer care while focusing on process skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. Maintain the integrity of the lobby and ensure all patients receive the expected level of service. Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public with a willingness to learn new skills. Job Requirements Handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check‑ins in the lobby via self‑service kiosk or handheld tablet. Be willing to work both in the lobby and in a draw room with patients to cover breaks as needed. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. High level of customer service experience/skills are required - this is critical to the heart of the role. Required Education High school diploma or equivalent (required, no exceptions). Work Experience Minimum of 1-2 years of client‑facing customer service (e.g., Retail, Home Health Aide). Required. Some phlebotomy experience required. Keyboard/data entry experience is a must. Role primarily involves lobby greeter responsibilities to help patients check in via kiosk and create a comfortable waiting environment. Additional Job Details Candidate must have reliable transportation to travel to/from worksite without issue (bus, Uber, rideshare is not reliable). Must be available to work whenever scheduled, be on time, and stay for the entire shift. Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated and may result in termination. Verify commute time to/from the physical work location; candidate must be within a 20‑25 minute commute window. Students’ schedules must not conflict with shift timing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
