You will create new and effective design solutions that improve our users'/clients' lives as a Designer. You'll collaborate with the project engineer and others to create appealing and user-friendly designs. Key Responsibility and Expertise Skilled in planning and sketching mechanical and plumbing systems, including ductwork, piping, sanitary systems, domestic water, and medical gas. Plumbing, ductwork, sanitary, medical, compressed air, natural gas, and water heating systems Develop and analyze design concepts with engineers. Determine design feasibility based on safety, function, and serviceability. Revit software allows comprehensive drawings, plans, and sketches. Create construction documentation and manage sporadic submissions. To achieve design integration, collaborate with different disciplines. Visit sites and conduct field research. Able to optimize routing and system size. Expertise in CAD software. Salary Range: $60,000 - $95,000. This position requires working in an open office setting. Qualifications Health care experience essential Required: ABET-accredited engineering bachelor's degree Working toward professional license (PE) after passing Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) Over 4 years as a mechanical designer Computer Skills: Revit, AutoCAD MEP, MS Office, Trane TOPSS, Trace 3D Travel: up to 10% depending on project Race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, employee organization membership, parental status, military service, and other non-merit factors are not discriminated against at Apogee.
