- Lead, coach, and develop teaching teams while fostering a positive, engaging workplace culture.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Ensure excellence in curriculum implementation, licensing compliance, health and safety, and daily school operations.
- Support enrollment, family engagement, staffing, and school performance goals.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and retain exceptional teachers.
- Partner with the School Director and leadership team to create an outstanding experience for every child and family.
- Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and servant leadership.
- Previous leadership experience in a licensed child care center or early childhood education program preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Ohio child care licensing regulations is preferred.
- A passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing others.
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with families while maintaining exceptional operational standards.
- Director Career Pathway Level in OCCRRA (CPL 2 and 2 years of experience in early childhood education)
