Sanitation Supervisor – Direct Hire

A well-established food manufacturing company in Phoenix that produces frozen dessert products is hiring a Sanitation Supervisor to oversee overnight sanitation operations and ensure the facility, production areas, and equipment meet food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity, meaning you will be hired directly by the company from day one.

Sanitation Supervisor Job Duties

• Lead and oversee the sanitation team and daily sanitation operations
• Assign responsibilities and ensure sanitation tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Ensure production equipment, machinery, floors, and work areas are properly cleaned and sanitized
• Follow and enforce GMPs, food safety standards, chemical handling procedures, and company safety policies
• Train, coach, and provide direction to sanitation team members
• Inspect completed sanitation work to ensure all areas meet food safety and quality standards
• Maintain sanitation documentation, checklists, and required records
• Identify and communicate equipment, sanitation, or safety concerns to management
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure equipment and production areas are ready for operation
• Promote accountability, teamwork, safety, and a clean work environment

Pay

• $60,000–$65,000 annually
• Pay is based on experience

Schedule

• Overnight Shift: 9:00 PM–6:00 AM
• Full-time

Sanitation Supervisor Requirements

• Previous sanitation experience in a food manufacturing or production environment
• Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and sanitation procedures
• Experience working safely with industrial sanitation chemicals and cleaning equipment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to train, coach, and hold team members accountable
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Reliable attendance and ability to consistently work the overnight schedule

Direct Hire Opportunity

This is a Direct Hire position. The selected candidate will be hired directly by the company from their first day of employment and will be eligible for company benefits according to the employer's eligibility guidelines.
