Mobile Medical AssistantThis position is a Mobile Medical Assistant and must be comfortable traveling. The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting clinicians and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This position is responsible for assisting with clinical and administrative functions that promote efficient care delivery, accurate documentation, and a positive patient experience. By serving as a key connection between patients, providers, and care teams, the Medical Assistant helps ensure smooth clinic operations and supports the overall effectiveness of the care center.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist clinicians with patient examinations and treatments under physician direction.Provide front and/or back office clinical support in accordance with Care Center or Medical Group Practice protocols.Greet patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner and facilitate a positive patient experience.Manage patient check-in by ensuring charts are prepared, medical records are available, patient information is current, and required paperwork is complete.Interview patients, obtain and document vital signs, and record the reason for visit.Explain procedures, perform treatments, and administer prescribed medications as directed.Support patient check-out by scheduling follow-up appointments, collecting co-payments when applicable, and ensuring documentation is complete.Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.Reconcile co-payments at the end of each day in accordance with clinic procedures.Key CompetenciesClinical Excellence & Patient CareAbility to support clinicians during examinations and treatments under physician direction.Knowledge of clinical procedures, vital sign measurement, medication administration, and basic treatments.Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and clinical best practices.Service OrientationDemonstrates a friendly, respectful, and patient-centered approach in all interactions.Creates a welcoming environment that supports patient comfort and trust.Responds effectively to patient needs, questions, and concerns.Attention to DetailAccurately documents patient information, vitals, and visit details.Ensures medical records, charts, and required paperwork are complete and current.Maintains accuracy in co-payment collection and daily reconciliation.Communication & Interpersonal SkillsCommunicates clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and care team members.Explains procedures and instructions in a way patients can easily understand.Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and professionalism in diverse patient interactions.Efficiency & Workflow ManagementEffectively manages patient flow, scheduling, and appointment confirmations.Balances front- and back-office responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.Follows established protocols and workflows to support smooth clinic operations.Professionalism & ConfidentialityMaintains patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and ethical behavior.Adheres to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of two (2) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Current and valid Medical Assistant certificate/certification from an accredited training program required.Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required, depending on location or patient population.Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is required.Compensation Range:$21.00 to $31.50The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
