Job Summary:

Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care in labor and postpartum environments, supporting various patient diagnoses and procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Free from Hemolytic Disease of the Fetus (FHM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate; experience with Epic electronic health record system; ability to attend high-risk and routine deliveries; experience with blood/blood product administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, various infusion pumps, and wound vacs; knowledge of heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate; staffing ratio 1:1-3; float requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification preferred.
• Additional Information: Staffing ratio- 1:1-3. Float: yes.
• Certification / Experience notes: Previous charge nurse experience preferred; EMR experience with system name community hospital; vaccination requirements are: COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status unknown.
• Submittal Requirements: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, prior to start; references may include Charge RNs or Lead Nurses.
