Our supportive culture is built on respect, friendliness, and a shared commitment to exceptional patient care.What You’ll DoClean, test, adjust, assemble and sterilize reusable medical supplies, instruments and equipment.Stores and distributes patient care medical instruments and equipment to hospital units, stocks medical supply storage areas.Performs, analyzes and documents sterilizer functions, tests vacuums, chemical and biological indicators, evaluates and inspects equipment, answers telephones, handles face to face interactions with patients and hospital personnel.Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.Who We’re Looking ForSix months’ experience in a medical setting preferred.Must have a current American Heart Association approved BLS card within three months of hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.Graduate of certified Central Service Technician program or previous experience as Sterile Processing Technician preferred.Familiarity with hospital supplies, equipment, instruments preferred.What We OfferOur total rewards package includesPay Range: $XXX/hour (based on experience)Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekendsPRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salaryPerks: Flexible scheduling, employee assistance program, access to outdoor recreation, and more!Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.Position is open until filled unless posted otherwise.Why Join Grand River Health?As a special taxing district, we are accountable to our community, allowing us to prioritize exceptional patient-centered care over financial bottom lines.
