Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized computed tomography (CT) imaging services to support patient diagnosis and care. Ensure high-quality imaging procedures are performed accurately and efficiently within the healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of PAPR exemptions and radiation precautions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to review imaging requirements.
• Complete required certifications, assessments, and modules prior to start and annually.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies, including fingerprinting and badging.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and ensuring comfort during procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio license or valid compact license applicable from 1/1/23 onward.
• Possess at least 18 months of permanent CT technologist experience in a healthcare setting.
• Active certifications in relevant imaging procedures with no pending credentials.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments, with a maximum of two attempts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in radiation safety, image quality, and patient care.
• Be nicotine free, with negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen within the past 12 months.
