Senior Insurance Defense Attorney

Senior Insurance Defense Attorney Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a top AV-rated full-service law firm. The firm has been fortunate to represent many clients who are members of the Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 lists of multinational corporations. We are currently seeking a Senior Insurance Defense Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense and be comfortable managing cases from inception through resolution. This role offers meaningful responsibility, client interaction, and the opportunity to work across a variety of complex litigation matters.
Ideal Candidate:
Ideal Candidate:
- Manage a full caseload independently from inception to trial/arbitration
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
- Conduct depositions (parties, witnesses,experts)
- Handle discovery and case strategy development
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
- Participate in the settlement negotiations, mediations, and trial preparation
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
- 8 to 10 years of civil litigation experience.
- Insurance Defense experience required.
- Strong proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Demonstrated experience taking and defending depositions.
- Familiarity with insurance carrier billing guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Detail-oriented, articulate, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Base Income Range: $170,000 - $195,000
- Plus, additional performance compensation for exceeding billables
