The schedule is Tues-Sat, 12:30am ET to 09:30am ET. You will enhance workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory; in addition to creating and reviewing procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimizing cost. Ensure rational distribution and delivery according to analysis reports and tracking records in conjunction to serving as a backup coverage for other logistics positions.Essential Responsibilities/Duties:Review and/or create daily reports used internally by Logistics as well as companywide to assess logistics performanceResponsible for aligning and allocating company resources to meet the needs of clientsAccountable for managing the integrity and accuracy of logistics dataManaging and resolving daily carrier and courier issues as neededConduct analysis to determine optimal shipping solutions to re-route shipment as needed to meet demands and minimize costsAttend, participate, and contribute to daily Logistics Operations meetings with service partners in conjunction to investigating any client complaints effectively ensuring relevant CAPA's are completed and verify corrective action plansAssist in developing, documenting, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for logistics operations ensuring compliance by internal and external business partnersMonitor and trend provider and vendor performance and provide feedback and solutions for improvementContinually review and scrub data ensuring various internal / external databases are accurate and alignedServe as the lead in the location and recovery of missing and damaged packages including CAPA reviews and determining action plansReroute shipments as needed to meet demands and minimize costsParticipate in and contribute to department projects led by others as well as initiate and lead mini projects related to logistics performance improvement related to service, quality, and costAid in the training of Logistics Specialist I in the technical performance of duties and proper use of internal systemsQualifications:EducationPrefer: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or equivalent experienceCompetencies/SkillsStrong customer service and organizational skillsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve customer issuesAbility to analyze raw data and create meaningful management reportsProficient in MS Office, specifically skilled in Excel and VisioAbility to utilize shipping and logistics softwareDetail orientedAbility to adapt to changing environmentStrong interpersonal skillsExperience2-4 years' experience as logistics specialist or analyst or equivalent rolePreferred experience with UPS and/or FedEx operation processesPrevious healthcare logistics experience, preferredPrior experience with CRM (Customer relationship Management) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems) preferredTue. - Sat. 12:30 AM ET - 9:30 AM ET
