Each year, MercyFirst serves more than 3,000 children, teenagers and families overcome enormous obstacles, re-imagine their futures and develop their full potential.Program Background:Behavioral Health Services fosters an environment of clinical care driven by the physical and emotional needs of the clients and families we serve. These services are carefully assessed and administered through best practice by qualified professionals for optimal health outcomes.Summary:To provide a full range of clinical services to the residents as a member of the treatment team. Supervise social work interns if/as assigned.Required Qualifications:Master's Degree in Social Work with an LMSW or an MHC with a limited permit.Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.Clinical-related experience in the assessment and treatment of children and families and relevant experience with children/adolescents.Experience & knowledge of child/adolescent growth & development and families including child/adolescent development stages and family dynamics.Responsibilities:Use accepted techniques of assessment and therapeutic intervention demonstrating competency in trauma treatment via individual and group sessionsProvide individual counseling and treatment, substance abuse counseling and treatment, trauma-informed counseling and treatment, family and group counselingWork with the Treatment Team/Care Team to establish treatment goals for youth/children utilizing historical and current information availablePractice use of Evidence-based treatment models: CBT, TF-CBT, SPARCS, ARCAssist youth to develop skills as defined in treatment goalsProvide youth and families with psychoeducation and wellness educationReport behaviors believed to be symptomatic, emotional, physical, or psychological disturbancesDe-escalate emotional and/or physical outbursts through the use of therapeutic crisis interventionAssist in psychiatric hospitalizationsEnsure required documentation for all case actions (clinical notes) are completed within established timeframes.Work collaboratively with other departments including Health Office, Care Management, AODs, etc.Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and staffMaintain a safe and secure environment for clientsBenefits/Perks:A comprehensive health insurance package including medical, dental and vision plans for you and your family403B retirement benefitsEmployer-paid life insurance and long-term disability insuranceGenerous paid time off (vacation, personal, sick, 12 paid holidays)Free employee assistance program through National EAPInsurance discounts for our staff and their familiesTrainings to support professional and personal developmentEmployee wellness programEmployee recognition activitiesSalary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year (Depending on Credentials) Hiring bonus of $1,000 after 500 worked hoursMercyFirst is an inclusive, anti-racist, multicultural organization and an Equal Opportunity Employer who welcomes prospective employees from diverse backgrounds for all levels at the agency.
