If you're ready to take ownership of projects, work directly with clients, and guide project teams, EBA is the place to grow your career.Your Responsibilities:As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will encompass:Managing water and wastewater engineering projects from initial planning and design through bidding and construction.Leading the design and rehabilitation of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pipelines, pumping stations, and related utility infrastructure.Developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables.Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and maintaining strong relationships throughout project delivery.Coordinating project activities with clients, regulatory agencies, utility owners, subconsultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.Leading and mentoring engineers and technical staff while coordinating workloads and project assignments.Reviewing engineering calculations, plans, specifications, technical reports, cost estimates, and other design documents.Providing technical direction throughout project planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction.Managing project budgets, schedules, invoicing, staffing, and overall financial performance.Coordinating permitting and regulatory requirements with local, state, and federal agencies.Conducting and participating in project meetings, design reviews, site visits, and field investigations.Overseeing bid-phase and construction-phase engineering activities, including reviewing submittals and shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and evaluating design changes.Identifying project challenges and developing effective approaches to maintain progress and meet client objectives.Assisting the department manager with proposals, scopes of work, fee estimates, and project schedules.Developing and maintaining client relationships and identifying opportunities for new and continuing work.Minimum Qualifications:To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and abilities:A bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited universityProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience managing the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of water distribution and wastewater collection systems and associated design standardsDemonstrated experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, and technical deliverablesProficiency with engineering software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, SewerGEMS, and EPANETProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlinesExperience leading engineers, designers, and other technical staffStrong client relationship and project coordination skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with WSSC Water, Washington Aqueduct, DC Water, Baltimore City DPW, Prince George's County, and/or Montgomery CountyExperience with water and sewer rehabilitation and replacement, pumping stations, pipeline design, utility coordination, and condition assessment projects.If you meet these criteria and are ready to embark on an exciting opportunity, we encourage you to apply and be part of our team!Benefits:We offer a range of benefits to help you thrive in your career, including a competitive salary and comprehensive compensation package; health benefits encompassing medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage; participation in a wellness rewards program designed to eliminate medical deductibles; a 401(k) plan with matching contributions from the company; flexible spending accounts; company-paid coverage for short- and long-term disability insurance; life insurance benefits; paid holidays and vacation time; as well as reimbursement for tuition, certifications, and licensure to facilitate your ongoing professional advancement.What We Do:At EBA, we appreciate that our success depends upon the experience, knowledge, and teamwork of our staff.
