Clinical Director

Join Our Mission Problem Gambling Network of Ohio (PGNO) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead and strengthen clinical services supporting individuals and families affected by problem gambling and related behavioral health concerns. This senior leadership role oversees clinical operations, quality assurance, program development, and administration of the Ohio Gambling Telehealth Network (OGTN). The Clinical Director will play a critical role in ensuring accessible, ethical, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care throughout Ohio while supporting organizational growth and strategic initiatives. While this is primarily an oversight and operational leadership role, the Clinical Director will maintain a small clinical caseload. The Clinical Director position will be based in either our Columbus or Beachwood, Ohio office. Regular travel may be required to support statewide initiatives, team collaboration, and program oversight. What You’ll Do Clinical Leadership & Oversight Lead and oversee clinical programs and services statewide Ensure delivery of ethical, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care Develop and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and standards Oversee clinical documentation, treatment planning, and case management practices Monitor outcomes and support continuous quality improvement efforts Maintain a small caseload as needed Administration of the Ohio Gambling Telehealth Network (OGTN) Administer and support statewide telehealth services related to problem gambling treatment Ensure efficient coordination of client services and provider operations Support system development and service accessibility across Ohio Staff Supervision & Development Provide clinical supervision and consultation to staff as appropriate Support hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development Conduct performance evaluations and assist with corrective action processes Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-focused workplace culture Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with state, federal, licensing, and accreditation standards Monitor confidentiality, ethical practices, and documentation requirements Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives Participate in audits, evaluations, and reporting processes Program Development & Community Engagement Support the development and expansion of clinical programs and services Build relationships with providers, referral partners, regulatory agencies, and community organizations Represent PGNO at meetings, conferences, trainings, and public events Assist with grant initiatives, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement Deliver presentations to stakeholders and funders Administrative Responsibilities Collaborate on budgeting, staffing, and operational planning Maintain accurate records and reporting related to clinical operations Participate in leadership and interdisciplinary meetings Support organizational initiatives and other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Master’s degree or higher in mental health counseling, addictions counseling, social work, psychology, or related field Independent clinical licensure required (examples include LISW‑S, LPCC‑S, IMFT‑S, LICDC‑CS, Ph.D., or equivalent) Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, addiction, or related services Minimum 2 years of supervisory and/or executive leadership experience Experience with telehealth service delivery Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems Ability to travel throughout Ohio and occasionally out of state Preferred Experience related to problem gambling treatment and recovery services Experience with program development, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance Gambling Endorsement through the OCDP Board or declared competence through the CSWMFT Board or Psychology Board, or willingness to pursue credentialing Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and behavioral health systems Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and collaboration skills Active and empathetic listening skills Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities Ability to collect, interpret, analyze, and report data effectively Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive care Sound judgment and professionalism Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate projects effectively Why Join PGNO?
