In this full-time remote position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with diverse special needs. Work Environment\nThis role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to connect meaningfully with students and their families from the comfort of your home or a designated workspace. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There may be occasional evening shifts or rotating weekend duties, reflecting our commitment to being available when our students need us most. Additionally, you may be called upon for on-call support in emergencies, ensuring that we provide timely interventions.
Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments tailored to each student’s unique needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of their emotional and psychological status. \n
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address mental health challenges and foster emotional well-being, aiming for successful integration into the school community. \n
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions with a focus on ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma-informed care methodologies. \n
- Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques that encourage personal growth, enhance emotional regulation, and promote effective coping strategies. \n
- Collaborating closely with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to create a cohesive support network for each student. \n
- Offering crisis intervention support during critical mental health emergencies, ensuring that students receive the immediate care they require. \n
- Providing psychoeducation to students and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health conditions and available community resources. \n
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. \n
- Actively participating in team meetings, case conferences, and continuous staff development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge base. \n
- Staying informed of current laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines relevant to social work practice. \n
The primary focus of your role will be on students enrolled in our Special Education Program, many of whom face various mental health challenges that can impede their educational experience. You will work closely with students diagnosed with ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and trauma-related situations, providing them with the tools and strategies necessary to navigate their unique challenges and succeed within the school setting.
Qualifications\nTo be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid LCSW license issued by the state of Arizona. \n
- Proficiency in mental health assessments and the formulation of treatment plans that are sensitive to the needs of each individual. \n
- Robust understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and trauma-informed care relevant to the populations served. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. \n
- Sound judgment, a commitment to professional ethics, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries. \n
While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate a passion for working with students in a special education context. Experience in delivering therapy within an educational setting is highly valued, along with familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
