Job Title Speech Language Pathologist Location College Place, WA | Skilled Nursing Facility Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation findings
- Monitor and document patient progress toward established therapeutic goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic strategies and home exercise programs
- Active Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility required
- Previous clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes in a supportive skilled nursing facility environment
