What You'll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and review of available records
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, and others, to coordinate patient care
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and levels of functioning
• Perform regular rounds in confined housing areas to assess inmate mental health and adjustment
• Apply psychological counseling techniques to support individuals in crisis
• Provide mental health evaluations, counseling, and interventions tailored to inmate needs
• Assist in addressing escalations of behavioral issues by consulting with medical and security staff

What You Need

• Valid licensure or board eligibility as a Psychologist
• At least some relevant experience in mental health care preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform assessments and provide crisis intervention
