Warehouse Associate

Job Description Warehouse Associate at Daikin in Woburn, USA. Responsible for off‑loading, putting away, picking, staging equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service to all internal and external customers. Accountable for material movement, warehouse appearance, and safety compliance. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate forklift and additional equipment to load/unload/transfer material and product. Ensure all items are received per procedure and stocked in assigned locations. Maintain inventory and prepare cycle counts. Complete will calls. Accurately complete paperwork and transaction entries. Wear proper PPE and uniform at all times during each shift. Maintain warehouse and forklift following good housekeeping and safety procedures, including pre and post shift forklift inspections. Alert manager of any concerns immediately. Assist customers and CSRs as needed. Follow standard operating procedures, established work processes and company policies. Perform additional tasks as required. Qualifications 1+ year(s) warehouse experience. 1+ year(s) industrial forklift experience strongly preferred. High school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Basic computer skills including data entry to process transactions and generate reports and orders. Effective verbal and written communication skills. High level of attention to detail and surroundings. Ability to operate forklift safely and work in fast‑paced warehouse. Ability to pass Prove It and driving test. Eligible to be forklift certified in‑house within 30 days. Ability to understand and follow work instructions, policies and procedures. Dependable, team player, building positive relationships with employees and customers. Ability to work in warehouse that is not climate controlled. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs or perform 2‑man lifts for heavier items. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
