Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Unit

Location: Petoskey, MI

Specialty: ICU

Position Type: Travel

Contract Duration: 8 - 12 weeks

Compensation: $1939 - $2336 | Shift: 3x12 nights

Are you an experienced ICU nurse eager to enhance your skills in a specialized cardiovascular setting? If you are passionate about delivering outstanding care to cardiology patients, we invite you to join our organization’s Cardiovascular Unit. Here, your expertise will play a vital role in the care of over 4,000 patients each year. This unit is celebrated for its excellence, having earned a Silver level Beacon Award and being recognized as one of the Top 50 Heart Hospitals in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional care to patients recovering from open heart surgery.
Collaborate with the NISUS research team on national clinical trials.
Float to similar units as required.
Adhere to a strict attendance policy.
Follow the facility’s standards for patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
Experience with EKG interpretation.
Willingness to float to related units.
Valid Michigan RN license (verification needed).
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar setting.
