Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients with a range of health conditions, from simple to complex. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Manage an assigned group of patients, delivering competent and compassionate care. Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments, noting any changes in physician orders. Assist physicians in examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments. Monitor physiological data, observe patient conditions, and take appropriate interventions when necessary. Administer prescribed medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products. Communicate care plans effectively with patients and families, ensuring understanding of hospital procedures and discharge instructions. Make referrals to appropriate personnel based on patient care needs. Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current RN License issued by the State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years. Proficiency in professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures. Strong organizational, planning, and evaluation skills for nursing services. Basic computer skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a Board-approved program. Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. Certifications ACLS (American Heart Association).
