Job Title: Staff RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid license to practice in the Client Certifications: CPR required Must-Have: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; critical thinking skills; ability to handle multiple priorities; independent decision-making Description: The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role appropriate tasks in the implementation of care. Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Demonstrates empathy and compassion when providing patient and family-centered care. Maintains integrity by being responsible for personal actions and promises. Utilizes resources wisely and shows pride in professional responsibilities. Demonstrates agility by taking initiative to find creative solutions and responding promptly to concerns. Works collaboratively with colleagues while respecting diverse viewpoints. Ability to communicate empathetically and supervise others professionally is essential. Demonstrates strong organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. Cognitive function areas needed include attention, memory, perception, and thought.
