Job Description
The VP of Marketing will lead channel marketing, brand portfolio management for all product categories, brand strategy, demand generation, marketing operations, advertising, go-to-market plans, and marketing investment for the Siding & Accessories business unit. The incumbent will build a high‑performing marketing team that drives growth by creating a portfolio of preferred brands offering differentiated customer experiences and prioritize revenue‑driven marketing.
Key responsibilities include establishing a highly functioning marketing organization and advancing capabilities in customer‑facing digital, database management, lead generation, and contractor loyalty.
Responsibilities
Lead the Siding & Accessories business unit’s overall strategic marketing plan, identifying integrated go‑to‑market plans, developing marketing plans to increase top and bottom‑line performance, and driving demand in coordination with sales leadership.
Customer Engagement & Marketing
- Customer & Contractor Promotions & Rebates: Develop and manage programs to gain share, drive volume, engage, and retain customers.
- Loyalty & Conversion Program: Design and implement loyalty programs to increase customer retention and satisfaction and deliver measurable results.
- Account‑Based Marketing Playbooks: Channel SWOT, customer playbooks, customer account planning, customer and partner newsletters, branch‑level activations.
Market Strategy
- Market Strategy: Develop market strategies based on insights and analysis to guide business decisions.
- Go‑to‑Market Strategy: Plan and execute go‑to‑market strategies for new products or market entries.
Market Intel, VOC, Customer Insights
- Market Research: Conduct research to gather insights on customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Customer Insights, VOC, Segmentation: Gather and interpret customer feedback, including VOC and NPS, and run customer journey mapping to inform strategies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights.
Brand Strategy and Marketing
- Brand Strategy & Management: Develop and maintain brand strategy for all brands, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
- Brand Equity: Develop and manage all marketing assets and integrated plans that build equity and optimize brand experience—including websites, social communities, sales materials, search optimization, advertising, PR, brand reputation, packaging, collateral.
- Media Relations & Reputation Management: Own the plan to manage and enhance our brands’ reputation across all mediums, including PR, media relations, online reviews, ratings, awards, and sponsorships.
Demand Generation
- Demand Generation: Develop and execute campaigns to drive brand and product demand and lead generation, nurturing prospects through the sales funnel.
- Content Marketing: Create and oversee the content strategy, including blogs, whitepapers, videos, and infographics to attract and engage target audiences.
- Email Marketing: Design and manage email campaigns for full‑funnel demand generation.
Lead Generation
- Lead Generation: Focus on generating and qualifying leads through inbound and outbound marketing activities.
- SEO/PPC: Manage search engine optimization and pay‑per‑click advertising to drive traffic and leads.
- Lead Nurture: Design, manage, and execute lead nurture program architecture, including email campaigns, text message marketing, and paid remarketing to move leads into sales‑ready opportunities.
Sales & Partner Enablement – Creative Activation
- Establish guidelines and oversee execution for creative development of sales tools, presentations, and training materials aligned with brand, channel, and customer strategy to enable efficient product and service sales.
Communications
- Internal Communications: Draft, manage, and deploy BU‑level communications on behalf of the leadership team.
- Customer Communications: Partner with category leaders and product managers to draft and deploy external communications related to product discontinuations, SKU optimizations, pricing updates, and more.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of marketing experience, with preference for experience in the building products industry.
- Experience with the current customer base is desired.
- Proven success in multi‑channel marketing and go‑to‑market experience in big box retail, distribution, contractor direct (residential or commercial), dealers, and homebuilders.

Additional Information
US base salary range: $200,000 – $230,000+ with medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1, 401(k), and PTO.
