How you'll contribute The athletic trainer is the liaison between the patient and/or parents, the medical doctors or their support staff, the medical assistant, athletes, coaches and contracted outreach community. Prevention of Athletic Injuries: Design and implement prevention programs. Job Knowledge: Understanding of job duties, know‑how in performing assigned tasks. Ambition/Initiative: Willingness to put forth effort in starting an activity, contributing to new ideas or seeking improvement. This position is based directly with Lawrence County High School (LCHS). Perform other duties as assigned. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision; must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
