You quickly identify their needs and skillfully guide them through our processes, whether you're processing sales orders, managing will-call requests, or handling returns. You're often picking orders for customers, staging them for future pickups, and assisting them with their purchases. You take initiative by organizing and labeling inventory and restocking returns to ensure our counter space is always neat and efficient. Your ability to multitask and your keen attention to detail ensure every transaction is handled with order excellence.REQUIREMENTS FOR A COUNTER SALES ASSOCIATEHigh school diploma or equivalencyStrong interpersonal skillsPrevious sales experienceA positive attitudeCross-functional agility, attention to detail, and strong communication skillsInitiative to actively seek opportunities to broaden knowledge and improve skillsComputer skills: typing, messaging platforms, web browsers, file folders, etc.Ability to maintain emotions in fast-paced and stressful situationsAbility to communicate complex situations clearly and simply by listening actively and conveying difficult messages in a positive mannerAbility to facilitate collaborationAbility to perform work independently and under direct supervisionAbility to maintain positive relationships with team members, customers, and vendorsAbility to multitaskAbility to lift or move up to 75 lbs. without assistance, and 75+ lbs. with assistance and/or lifting equipmentPreferred qualifications:Bilingual language abilities: English and Spanish1-3+ years of plumbing/wholesale experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experienceCollege degree or 2+ years' experience in the industryPrevious experience using an inventory management system (QuickBooks, Eclipse, Savance, etc.)Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Experience with material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand dolly, etc.)Possess the drive to assist team members with other tasksYOUR HOURSWe offer a schedule from Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with overtime available.LEARN ABOUT US: SONORAN PLUMBING SUPPLY COMPANY, LLCWe are a dynamic and growing company that specializes in providing top-quality plumbing materials and excellent service to our customers.
