JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
Licenses: Active KY license
DEA: Active DEA Certification
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Other Qualifications: Clean background with no malpractice/license issues; Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide onsite hospitalist coverage from 0800-1800 including call duties
Manage adult inpatient population (100% adult, 50% geriatric) with an average daily census of 14 patients
Cover a single ICU bed as needed
Respond to beeper/phone call coverage when not onsite
Provide care in accordance with hospital protocols
