Teller II – Clarendon, TXHerring Bank is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Teller II to join our Clarendon team. This position is ideal for an experienced teller who is comfortable handling a high volume of transactions, assisting customers with more complex banking needs, and supporting the overall operations of the branch.The Teller II provides accurate and efficient transaction processing while delivering excellent customer service. This role also assists with vault responsibilities, supports and mentors other tellers, helps resolve customer issues, and identifies opportunities to connect customers with additional banking products and services.Key responsibilities include:Process customer transactions accurately and efficientlyBalance cash drawer and assist with vault managementHandle complex transactions and assist with resolving customer issuesSupport Teller I employees and assist with training new hiresAssist with ATM balancing and maintaining appropriate currency levelsMonitor transactions for potential suspicious or fraudulent activityPromote and refer customers to appropriate bank products and servicesProvide advanced support for online bankingAnswer customer calls professionally and provide timely assistanceAssist with audits, cash shipments, and branch compliance requirementsQualifications include:High school diploma or GED required2+ years of teller experience, or internal promotion with demonstrated mastery of Teller I responsibilitiesSuccessful completion of additional teller trainingStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsEffective problem-solving and multitasking abilitiesProficiency with core banking systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and meet performance expectationsMust be able to successfully pass a background checkSchedule: Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays. Schedule is flexible and typically falls between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.Why Herring Bank?
